Vinyasa Yoga is a fluid style of yoga which incorporates the asana of Hatha Yoga, but connects the postures with breath in fluid motion. Focus is on body awareness, breath and mindful movement. You can expect to challenge yourself as Moira guides you thru an hour of Vinyasa flow, beginning with centering warm up, moving through elemental sequencing of challenge and flow, working with balance and focus, with an ever changing theme of exploration. Class always ends with a cool down savasana (rest) to restore the mind and spirit. You will leave rejuvenated and refreshed.
Moira’s classes are open to all levels, including beginners. Props, modification, and challenge are incorporated, as well as a mindfulness practice and meditation. You do not need to be flexible, spiritual, or anything other than yourself.
